It is my desire to present to you the very best modern Urdu poems here: voices at the cutting edge of modern Urdu poetry.

     Celebrating the few truly modern Urdu poets at Dareechah-e-Nigaarish will serve the valuable purpose of exposing the young, up and coming Urdu poets to what is possible if one stays true to one's own identity, perseveres with honing one's craft and does not give up on the innate talent one possesses for using words creatively. 

     It is these web savvy, young men and women, perhaps in Pakistan's high schools, colleges and universities or currently unemployed and hanging out at the neighborhood Internet Cafe, that Dareechah-e-Nigaarish is aimed at primarily.

So, let us begin our celebration of the modern Urdu poet and what he or she has achieved so far !!  Marhaba !!
